Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalist is going to organize a training programme on "Biodiversity and Livelihood" from 24-27 December 2006 at the NEFEJ secretariat, Thapathali, Kathmandu.In the training all together 20 journalists will be participating from conflict-affected areas and those who are not much familiar with issues of biodiversity and its relation to livelihood.

The primary objectives of the training are to:
i) enhance the capacity of journalists on issues of Biodiversity and Livelihood
ii) sensitize the role of journalists to protect biodiversity and
iii) sensitize the role of journalist to raise livelihood in the conflict affected areas.
