Media Training Centre (MTC) of Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ) organized three days training on "Environment Journalism on theme of Urban Solid Waste Management" in Kathmandu.

The objective of the training was to develop knowledge and skills of journalist to sensitize the issue of urban solid waste management.

The trainig was organized with support from Rosa Luxembourg Foundation, Germany.

The 16 journalist including 10 male and 6 female were participated in training working in print, radio and television media.

The training was conducted from April 25-27, 2010.

The resource person of the training were Nimesh Regmi, Environment Journalist, Ennvironment Expert Dr. Toran Sharma and Surya Man Shakya, Senior Environment Journalist Tirtha Koirala and Mohan Mainali and Documentary Film Maker Dhurba Basnet.
