Media Training Centre (MTC) of Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ) organized three days training on "Online Journalism on theme of Post Conflict and Human Rights" in Kathmandu.

The objective of the training was to develop knowledge and skills of media professionals to make familiar with online media and to understand the issue of post conflict and human rights. 

The trainig was organized with support from Rosa Luxembourg Foundation, Germany.

The 18 media professional including 11 male and 7 female were participated in training.

The training was conducted from June 21-23, 2010.

The resource person of the training were Senior Online Journalist Ram Prasad Humagai, Online Media Expert Suraj Adhikari and Chandra K. Chakradhar, Human Right Activist and Senior Journalist Kundan Aryal and Senior Journalist Tara Nath Dahal.

    Media Training Centre (MTC), a training center of Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ), organized five days long Photojournalism: Digital Photography Workshop on ‘Peace Process and Local Communities’ in Dharan, Sunsari from June 1-5, 2011. Mr. Sahaj Man Shrestha, MTC coordinator led the workshop.

    International Institute of Journalism Berlin –Brandenburg (IIJB) had designed a course of training (TOT) which is being used in the training of Nepalese photojournalists since April, 2009. “Training of Trainers for Photojournalists” was organized by IIJB in co-operation with Rosa Luxemburg Foundation and the Media Training Center (MTC) under Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ).
