    KATHMANDU: The development and publication of Community Radio Performance Assessment System (CR-PAS) gained further publicity at the AMARC Asia Pacific Second Regional Conference on February 22 in the Indian city of Bangaluru.

    That is because it was the forum where CR-PAS was launched internationally amid the participation of who's who of the world of community radio movement from around the world.

    KATHMANDU: The Nepal Forum of Environment Journalists (NEFEJ) has resented the latest government decision to let the resorts operating inside Chitwan National Park (CNP) for another three years.

    With the latest cabinet decision which came by on December 1, Jungle Resorts, Temple Tiger, Tiger Tops, Naryani Safari, Chitwan Jungle Lodge, Machan and Gaida Wildlife Camp stand entitled to resume service for the next three years after paying up the outstanding revenue.

    The Climate Change Watch Program (CCWP) under Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ) has launched a new interaction series on the hydra of climate change, its impact and adaptation measures recently.

    The new media campaign of NEFEJ, which is devoted to sensitizing the policy makers on the fallout of the rising global temperature and its resultant impact on agriculture and climatic conditions, was launched on November 4 and has been labeled as "NEFEJ Climate Series."
