Nabin Aryal has won the 2008 Environmental Award which is given by Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists (NEFEJ) every year to journalists excelling in the reporting of environment. The prize carries a cash prize of Rs.25,000 and a certificate.

Working with Gorkha FM, Aryal had intensively filed reports on several environmental issues including climate change. We at NEFEJ congratulate him for his achievement. The award will be handed over to him coinciding with NEFEJ Annual General Meeting in September later this year.
